Il figure à coup sûr dans mon « top 5 » des pilotes les plus sympas que j’ai rencontré durant les 50 ans ou j’ai vécu le moto-cross.
Pilote de haut niveau pendant plusieurs décennies, il y a bien longtemps, c’est avec le même plaisir que je viens de le retrouver au téléphone, pour lui demander l’autorisation de mettre son livre dans mon grenier.
L’image que je garde de lui : un battant sur le terrain et un homme respecté de tous, lors des 3ème mi-temps du moto-cross, celles qui réunissaient l’intégralité des participants du championnat de France, après chaque épreuve, dans le plus proche restaurant du circuit.
Impensable aujourd’hui.
